The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast rain or thundershowers with partly cloudy skies in Dhaka and surrounding areas.
The forecast, issued for the six hours from 7am on Saturday, also said that winds may blow from the west and southwest at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometres per hour. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly.
At 6am on Saturday, Dhaka recorded a temperature of 25.2°C with 59 percent humidity. Friday’s maximum temperature was 33.5°C, while Saturday’s minimum was 24.8°C.
Sunset will be at 6:13pm on Saturday and sunrise at 5:54am on Sunday. No rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours.
The BMD has advised the public to take necessary precautions due to the variable weather conditions.
