The Barishal ISKCON Shri Shri Radha Shyamsundar Temple has launched a nine-day programme to mark the Rath Yatra festival of Shri Shri Jagannath Dev, inviting devotees and visitors to join the celebrations with their families.
The Rath Yatra procession began on 16 July at 4pm with a colourful parade and city tour in Barishal, while the return Rath Yatra, known as Ulto Rath Yatra, will be held on Friday, 24 July, said in a press release.
The temple authorities have arranged various religious programmes throughout the nine-day festival to celebrate the occasion.
The organisers have called for the presence and support of devotees and well-wishers to make the festival successful.
