Bangladesh Bank has set revised office and transaction hours for all scheduled banks during the month of Ramadan.
According to a circular issued on Tuesday, bank offices will operate from 9:30am to 4:00pm. However, customer transactions will be allowed from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
Bank staff will observe a 15-minute break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.
The central bank said both office and transaction hours will return to their previous schedule after Ramadan.
