India head coach Khalid Jamil has announced a 23-man squad for Tuesday’s AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifier against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
Australian-born winger Ryan Williams, who recently received his Indian passport, has travelled with the team but can only join the matchday squad once Football Australia issues an NOC and FIFA and the AFC confirm his eligibility.
India trained in Bengaluru from 6 November and is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Saturday evening.
The match holds no stakes for India, as last month’s defeat to Singapore ended its qualification hopes. The team sits bottom of Group C on two points, level with Bangladesh.
