Australia landed in Dhaka on Friday for a six match white ball tour of Bangladesh. The visitors arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport ahead of a three match ODI series and a three match T20I series.
The Australian squad does not include several senior players, including Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood. Even so, the tourists remain a strong side with plenty of experience and quality.
Bangladesh have already named their squad for the first two ODIs. The biggest talking point is the return of batting all rounder Mossadek Hossain, who is back in the national team after more than three years. Afif Hossain and Mahidul Islam Ankon, both part of the previous series against New Zealand, have not been selected.
The Bangladesh team will begin a training camp at the Sher e Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
The first ODI is scheduled for June 9. The second and third matches will take place on June 11 and June 14. All three games will be played in Mirpur.
After the ODI series, the teams will travel to Chattogram for three T20Is. Those matches are set for June 17, June 19 and June 21.
