A tense situation unfolded Wednesday night at Al Madina Restaurant in front of Impulse Hospital in Tejgaon, Dhaka, when senior journalists Munni Saha, Joy E Mamun, and Prabash Amin were surrounded.
A video circulating on social media shows a group of people encircling the three inside the restaurant, creating a heated atmosphere.
Colleagues rushed to the spot after learning of the incident. With police presence and the intervention of fellow journalists, the three were able to leave safely.
The incident has sparked concern within the journalist community.
