Lahore Qalandars have made a change to their squad for the rest of the Pakistan Super League 2026 season. Parvez Hossain Emon has been ruled out with injury. The team has signed Charith Asalanka as his replacement.
The franchise confirmed the move on Sunday. Asalanka will join the squad as the tournament moves into its final stage.
Emon picked up a shoulder injury during a recent match against Multan Sultans in Lahore. The injury happened after a collision with Asif Ali on the field. Medical checks later showed a ligament tear.
The 23-year-old returned to Bangladesh on Sunday morning.
Emon played three matches for Lahore Qalandars this season. He also won a player of the match award before his injury ended his campaign.
