Al-Arafah Islami Bank began a three-day training workshop on “Investment Management” at its training institute in Dhaka on Tuesday, aiming to strengthen professional skills in Shariah-compliant investment operations.
Managing Director and CEO Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan inaugurated the programme as chief guest at the Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training Institute. He said effective investment management grounded in Shariah principles was vital to ensuring sustainable growth and safeguarding asset quality.
Khan urged officers to pursue professional excellence, deepen expertise in risk assessment and management, and implement timely investment strategies to maintain the bank’s performance standards.
The workshop was presided over by AIBTI Principal Md Abdur Rahim Duary. Senior Assistant Vice President SM Zulkar Nayen and other senior officials attended.
A total of 50 investment officers from branches across the country are taking part in the programme, which the bank said would enhance professional capabilities and make its investment activities more integrated and effective.
