Bollywood actor Yami Gautam is gearing up for her upcoming film Nayyi Navelli, and the makers have already sparked curiosity with its unusual motion poster.
Her husband and filmmaker Aditya Dhar was quick to cheer her on, sharing a hilarious reaction to her striking new avatar.
The makers unveiled the motion poster on Wednesday, showing Yami dressed in a red saree and gold jewellery.
She is seen holding a demon by the neck, while a Ferris wheel appears in the background. The poster carries the intriguing line, “Bhabhi Daayan hai.”
Aditya shared the poster on Instagram and jokingly wrote, “So this is what I married into!” accompanied by an evil-face emoji and a heart.
Yami responded with equal wit, writing, “Hahaha… writer saahab… aap filmon mein try kyun nahin karte. Intezar kijiye 16 October ka.”
Their playful exchange quickly caught the attention of fans, with many praising the couple’s adorable banter and Aditya’s support for his wife.
One fan called their interaction “really cute”, while another praised Aditya as an “OG supporter”. Others expressed excitement over Yami’s latest project, particularly her unconventional choice of roles.
Yami and Aditya met while working on Uri: The Surgical Strike. Their professional relationship gradually developed into a close friendship and later romance.
The couple kept their relationship largely private before marrying in an intimate ceremony on 4 June, 2021.
They welcomed their first child, son Vedavid, in May 2024.
