Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) PLC has approved forming a joint venture with global stationery brand Deli Group to expand into “value-added consumer segments and diversify revenue streams.”

The company said its board cleared the formation of “Deli ACI Bangladesh Limited” with authorised capital of Tk100 crore and paid-up capital of Tk27 crore, where it will hold a 50 per cent stake, subject to regulatory approval.

The venture will focus on stationery, office supplies and related equipment, targeting students, professionals and broader consumer markets, according to the ACI officials.

However, for July 2025 to March 2026, consolidated loss per share narrowed 54.12 per cent to Tk4.18 from Tk9.11, indicating improved performance over the nine months.

Net operating cash flow per share remained negative but improved to minus Tk68.02 from minus Tk83.14, reflecting reduced cash outflow.

Consolidated net asset value per share declined to Tk85.78 as of 31 March, from Tk91.64 at end-June 2025.

The company said revenue grew about 15 per cent during the period, supported by multiple segments, while higher borrowing costs linked to working capital and investments weighed on profitability.

ACI shares, with a face value of Tk10, fell 4.63 per cent to Tk193.80 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.
