The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has issued letters to Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) and Midland Bank, seeking bank account details of Eastern Bank Chairman Md Showkat Ali Chowdhury and his family members.
ACC Deputy Director Mostafizur Rahman, the investigation officer at the commission’s headquarters, recently requested the relevant documents as part of an ongoing investigation.
Public Relations Officer Md Akhtarul Islam confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
