Bangladesh captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz once again chose to bat first after winning the toss in the series-deciding third ODI against the West Indies in Mirpur.
Just like in the previous two matches, Bangladesh will begin with the bat. The home side won the first ODI but lost the second in a dramatic finish that ended in a historic Super Over. Despite that setback, Mehidy stayed consistent with his approach.
Before the second ODI, he had said, “We love to bat first.” His preference was clear once again as he made the same call in the decider at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
