A Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) delegation met Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin at the Election Commission headquarters in Agargaon on Thursday morning, ahead of the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election.
The meeting began around 11 am at the commission’s office, said officials.
The three-member BNP delegation was led by Standing Committee Member Abdul Moyeen Khan. The other members were Ismail Jabihullah, a member of the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council, and former Election Commission Secretary Mohammad Zakaria.
According to Election Commission sources, the meeting discussed several election-related issues, including the ongoing redrawing of parliamentary constituencies and other matters concerning the next national polls.
