United Medical College Hospital has officially stepped in as the association sponsor and exclusive healthcare partner for the upcoming SAFF Championship 2026. Building upon the traditional government hospital support seen in previous years, tournament organizers have officially entrusted United Medical College Hospital to deliver comprehensive medical assistance throughout the regional competition.

To ensure the safety and well-being of athletes representing nations across South Asia, United Medical College Hospital is deploying robust on-ground medical infrastructure.

This includes three Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances stationed directly at match venues. In addition to rapid-response transport, skilled doctors, specialized nurses, and stretcher-bearers will be on site during every match to provide immediate medical attention and emergency support for all participating players.

This strategic partnership guarantees that athletes receive top-tier medical care on-site, reinforcing safety standards for international football in the region.

The 15th edition of the SAFF Championship will run from November 5 to 17, with six teams taking part. Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are in Group A, while defending champions India, Pakistan and Maldives are in Group B.

The top two teams from each group will reach the semi-finals on November 14. The final will take place on November 17. All matches will be played at the National Stadium in Dhaka.
