Bangladesh government has strongly condemned Israel’s interception on “Global Sumud Flotilla,” a convoy carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Friday, describing the incident as a “blatant violation of international law.”
The statement further noted that Israel’s actions exposed its “shameless stance of using hunger as a weapon of war.”
Bangladesh demanded immediate and unconditional release of the detained humanitarian workers.
The ministry reiterated that Israel must end its illegal occupation of Gaza and the West Bank and respect international humanitarian law.
Bangladesh stressed that the aid flotilla stands as a symbol of global solidarity with the occupied Palestinian people.
