Ten central leaders of the National Citizen Party (NCP) have been given divisional organisational responsibilities. These leaders have been relieved of all other duties and assigned solely the role of divisional organising secretary.
The appointments were confirmed in a notice signed by NCP Convener Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhter Hossen.
Dr Atiq Mujahid has been given responsibility for Rangpur division, Imran Emon for Rajshahi, Ehtesham Haque for Sylhet, Ashekin Alam for Mymensingh, Saifullah Haider for Dhaka, Nizam Uddin for Faridpur, SM Suja Uddin for Chattogram, Md Ataullah for Comilla, Faridul Haque for Khulna, and Advocate Mujahidul Islam Shahin for Barishal.
The newly appointed divisional organising secretaries have been tasked with completing the formation of convening committees in all metropolitan areas and districts across the country within the next one month.
