Bangladesh Krishi Bank held its Business Development Conference for fiscal year 2025-26 on September 20, focusing on the Brahmanbaria region.
The day-long event, organised by the Brahmanbaria Chief Regional Office, brought together branch managers and field officers to discuss strategies for loan recovery, loan disbursement, deposit collection, and remittance growth.
The conference was graced by Md Abdur Rahim, deputy managing director of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, who attended as chief guest.
In his speech, Rahim assured attendees that deposits in the bank are 100 percent secure and provided various directives on improving deposit mobilization, loan distribution, remittance collection, and recovering defaulted loans.
The event was presided over by Mohammad Yusuf Khan, regional manager of the Brahmanbaria Chief Region.
Special guests included Md Mamunur Rashid, general manager of the bank’s loan recovery division, Md Fateh Khan, general manager (in-charge) of the Cumilla division, and Probir Kumar Das, divisional audit officer of the Cumilla divisional audit office.
Other officials and participants were also present.
