The final results of the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections were announced on Wednesday, with the Shibir-backed panel securing victories in the vice president (VP) and general secretary (GS) posts. Sadik Kayem was declared the winner for VP, while SM Forhad won the GS position.
The results were confirmed after an overnight counting process, with the Election Commission announcing the final outcome at around 8:50 AM. This marks a significant victory for the Oikkoboddho Shikkharthi Jote panel, which received support from the Islami Chhatra Shibir.
