Jatiya Ganotantrik Party (JAGPA) will besiege the Indian Embassy tomorrow, August 6, in protest against Indian aggression and to demand the return of murderer Hasina led by JAGPA Vice President and party spokesperson Rashed Prodhan, commencing at 11am from in front of Canadian University in Merul Badda.
Speaking at an organisational meeting at Paltan’s Shafiul Alam Prodhan Auditorium on August 5 ahead of the embassy siege program, Rashed Prodhan stated: “The Indian government has been sheltering murderer Hasina with state honors for a year. Tomorrow we will clearly articulate our demands by besieging the Indian Embassy – murderer Hasina must be returned, and Indian aggression must stop. I call upon all patriotic citizens who defend independence and sovereignty to make this siege program successful.”
The JAGPA spokesperson urged vigilance against potential sabotage attempts by Awami terrorists during the siege, while preemptively apologising to local residents for possible traffic congestion in the area.
Rashed Prodhan declared: “On August 5 last year, through the mass uprising of students and people, we were liberated from the oppression of murderer Hasina and the terrorist organisation Awami League. Today is our Liberation Day, Bangladesh’s Liberation Day. I offer gratitude to Almighty Allah and pay solemn tribute to all martyrs and wounded of the July mass uprising.”
Other speakers at the organisational meeting included JAGPA General Secretary Professor Iqbal Hossain Prodhan, Presidium members Asadur Rahman Khan and Syed Shafiqul Islam, Joint General Secretary Rawshan Alam Akand, Publication Secretary SM Ziaul Anwar, Dhaka Metropolitan JAGPA Convener Shyamal Chandra Sarkar, Youth JAGPA President Nazrul Islam Bablu, and Labor JAGPA General Secretary Monwar Hossain.
