Pamela Anderson will receive a lifetime achievement award at Italy’s Torino Film Festival, where she will introduce a special screening of Gia Coppola’s ‘The Last Showgirl’.

As confirmed by Variety, the actress will receive the festival’s Stella della Mole Award and take part in an onstage conversation ahead of the screening. Her performance in ‘The Last Showgirl’ earned her a Golden Globe nomination in 2025 and marked a major career comeback.

Torino Film Festival artistic director Giulio Base praised Anderson’s performance, saying the film revealed a previously unseen sensitivity in her work as an actress. Previous recipients of the Stella della Mole Award include Spike Lee, Antonio Banderas, Angelina Jolie and Sharon Stone.

Following ‘The Last Showgirl’, Anderson starred alongside Liam Neeson in the reboot of ‘The Naked Gun’. She also appeared in Karim Aïnouz’s family satire ‘Rosebush Pruning’, which premiered in Berlin, and Kornél Mundruczó’s road movie ‘Place to Be’, which screened at the Venice Film Festival in September. The latter features Ellen Burstyn, Taika Waititi and Murray Bartlett.

Anderson has also completed filming on several upcoming projects, including Brian Klugman’s ‘Somedays’, alongside Billy Bob Thornton; Michael Cera’s directorial debut, ‘Love Is Not the Answer’, with Steve Coogan and Jamie Dornan; and Sally Potter’s ‘Alma’, co-starring Richard E. Grant.

The 44th Torino Film Festival will take place in Turin from 24 November to 2 December. Organised by Italy’s National Film Museum, the festival focuses on independent cinema and emerging filmmakers.
