The drama ‘Tumi Jake Bhalobasho’, starring Jovan and Keya Payel in the lead roles, will air on Maasranga Television at 8PM on 7 November. The story follows a young woman struggling with the emotional pressures of an arranged marriage, her desire to discover herself and the possibility of a new relationship.
In the drama, Prithir’s marriage to her boyfriend, Orko, is arranged by their families. As the wedding approaches, however, she begins to feel overwhelmed by social expectations and family responsibilities. One day, she suddenly leaves for Sreemangal, embarking on her first solo trip. Away from her usual surroundings, she feels as free as a bird, wandering at her own pace and enjoying the beauty of nature.
During her stay, Orko calls her. As they talk, Prithir hears someone on his end criticising her for travelling outside Dhaka for an office project just days before her wedding. The person questions how any sensible woman could make such a decision. The remarks immediately dampen her mood.
Prithir has, in fact, used an office project as a reason to visit Sreemangal. She had been feeling suffocated in Dhaka and wanted to take some time for herself. She fears that after marriage, she may never again have the opportunity to travel alone like this.
In Sreemangal, Prithir meets Ushaan, a photographer who comes to her aid when she finds herself in trouble. The two gradually become friends, and Ushaan takes her around the scenic spots of the area.
One morning, Prithir wakes up to find Orko standing outside her hotel. Rather than feeling surprised, she is annoyed by his unexpected arrival, though she tries not to let him notice. She introduces Orko to Ushaan, and the three begin exploring the area together.
Prithir is supposed to return to Dhaka with Orko the following morning. That night, Ushaan messages her, admitting that he will find it difficult to live without her. Prithir, too, feels sad at the thought of leaving him. Deep down, she wishes Ushaan would ask her to stay, but he says nothing.
Will Prithir return to Dhaka as planned, or will she listen to her heart and make a different choice? Viewers will find out as the drama unfolds.
