Police fired tear gas shells and sound grenades at garment workers during a protest in Fatullah, Narayanganj, on Wednesday.
The workers were protesting to demand a minimum monthly wage of Tk30,000.
Clashes between the protesters and police continued in the area until the filing of this report around 12pm.
