Gold prices have increased and the price of 22-carat gold increased by Tk3,266 per bhori (11.664 grams) to stand at Tk220,858.
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the new price through a press release on Monday.
The price of 21-carat gold is now Tk210,943 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk181,200 and traditional method gold at Tk148,016.
BAJUS said the adjustment was made in line with overall market conditions following an increase in the price of pure gold (tejabi gold) in the local market.
However, silver prices have remained unchanged.
