Writer Dolly Alderton, known for adapting her memoir ‘Everything I Know About Love’ for television, has written all six episodes. Euros Lyn, known for directing ‘Heartstopper’, is at the helm of the series.

Alderton initially felt daunted by the prospect of adapting one of literature’s most beloved novels. She later came to regard the assignment as an honour, saying the story’s emotional themes remain relevant more than two centuries after Austen wrote it.

Corrin has praised the adaptation for balancing the authenticity of the period setting with the story’s contemporary relevance.
