Police recovered the body of a woman from a residence in East Nakhalpara in the capital on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rozina, 34.
The body was sent to the morgue at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy.
Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Muhammad Mahbubur Rahman confirmed the incident.
Police have taken the Rozina’s husband, Arif, and their two school-going minor sons to Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station for questioning in connection with the incident.
OC Mahbubur said the cause of death could not be immediately determined.
He added that an investigation is underway to determine the actual cause of death.
