The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is set to end its association with India-based broadcast production and equipment rental company Real Impact, with the upcoming two-Test series against West Indies expected to be the final assignment under their existing arrangement, TIMES has learnt from a senior BCB official.
According to a source familiar with the development, the board is now looking for a new broadcast production company to handle its home series.
The move follows the BCB’s decision in February 2026 to move away from its long-standing partnership with Real Impact as part of efforts to reduce costs and explore alternative service providers. Real Impact, however, continued to produce Bangladesh’s home series on a contract basis.
Although reports suggested that Real Impact’s production responsibilities were due to continue until 2027, the cost of the arrangement prompted the BCB to look for more affordable alternatives.
As part of that process, Trans Production and Technologies (TPT) was awarded the production duties for Bangladesh’s ODI series against Pakistan. The company had also handled the broadcast production for the previous season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)
The BCB viewed TPT’s work positively, with the company delivering what was considered satisfactory production quality at a lower cost.
