Capcom’s popular video game franchise Street Fighter is heading to the big screen, with the action-packed martial arts film scheduled for international release on 16 October.

The film will also arrive at Star Cineplex in Bangladesh on the same day.

Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the upcoming adaptation features a star-studded cast led by Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji and Jason Momoa, who will portray Blanka.

Indian action star Vidyut Jammwal will take on the role of Dhalsim, while WWE star Roman Reigns will also appear in the film.

The new adaptation follows the 1994 film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. It aims to reintroduce the franchise’s iconic characters, intense combat sequences and signature fighting moves to a new generation of cinema audiences.

With its blend of martial arts action, familiar video game characters and internationally recognised stars, the film has already attracted attention from fans eager to see the popular gaming franchise reimagined for the big screen.
