Popular singer Asif Akbar has returned to the music scene with a new solo song after a brief break. Titled ‘Bhule Gechi Tomake’, the song explores heartbreak, separation and the struggle to forget someone once deeply loved.
Snehashish Ghosh wrote the lyrics, while Rajesh Ghosh composed the song and M M P Rony handled the musical arrangement. Asif also appears in the music video, directed by Yamin Elan.
The song has been released on the YouTube channel of R R Music.
For Asif, the release also marks a reunion with Rajesh Ghosh after a long gap. The composer has created several popular songs for the singer, and their long-standing musical understanding remains strong.
Asif said he is pleased to have worked with Rajesh again and hopes listeners will connect with the new song.
Alongside the release, Asif is also preparing for an overseas trip. He will travel to South Korea to perform at Bangladesh Festival 2026, organised by the Incheon Bangladesh Community in Korea (IBCK).
The event has already generated interest among Bangladeshi expatriates, who are looking forward to seeing the popular singer perform in South Korea.
