Five contemporary artists- Mim, Kajori, Shilpi, Israt and Farin- have gathered in Udaipur, Dhaka for a preliminary creative session ahead of a joint exhibition scheduled for November 2026, exploring themes of fragmented existence, memory and transient light.
The retreat served as a creative incubator for the upcoming exhibition under the theme “Fragmented Reality,” which interrogates the rapidly changing nature of human experience where the figurative canvas of daily life alters from moment to moment, said a press release on Wednesday.
During the session, the artists engaged in simultaneous paint application, palette exploration and conceptual dialogue against a riverside backdrop, establishing the expressive groundwork for their exhibition.
The artists’ individual focuses include atmospheric textures and light gradients (Mim), temporal memory and muted tones (Kajori), fractured planes and layered pigments (Shilpi), digital screens and modern solitude (Israt), and fluid transitions and sensory atmospheres (Farin).
The exhibition will be held in the last week of November 2026.
