The third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad is set to convene on Thursday at 3:00 pm, with proceedings expected to run for approximately seven to eight days.

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad will preside over the session, assisted by Deputy Speaker Kayser Kamal.
This sitting follows a 42-day recess after the conclusion of the second session, also the first budget session, which ran from 7 June to 15 July and saw the passage of the national budget alongside 10 government bills.

Parliament Secretariat sources noted that the exact duration will be finalised during the Business Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday morning. Chief Whip Nurul Islam Moni confirmed that the session would be brief, with the final schedule dictated by the legislative agenda.
