Mohammad Zahir Hossain, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank assigned to exercise the powers and perform the responsibilities of the Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, recently visited the head office of Islami Bank Foundation and reviewed its activities.
During the visit, Hossain exchanged views with the foundation’s senior officials and was briefed on its overall operations. He praised the foundation’s work in education, healthcare, health education, human resource development, poverty alleviation and other public welfare initiatives, saying they uphold the bank’s overall reputation and values, Islami Bank said in a press release.
Hossain also assured the foundation of his full support for its continued development and progress.
Among those present were Islami Bank Foundation Acting Executive Director Mohammad Ali, General Manager Md Faizul Kabir, Islami Bank Company Secretary Mohammad Habibur Rahman and other senior officials of the foundation.
