Ibn Sina Trust has signed a corporate agreement with the Department of Cooperatives to provide special discounts on medical services to the department’s staff, officers, employees and their dependants.
Under the deal, eligible officials, employees and dependants of the Department of Cooperatives will be able to access discounted medical services at all Ibn Sina branches, the organisation said in a press release.
The agreement was signed by Ibn Sina Trust’s AGM and Head of Business Development Niaz Makhdum Shibli and Department of Cooperatives Additional Registrar for Administration, MIS and Finance Md Nabirul Islam.
The signing reflects the growing use of corporate healthcare arrangements between medical service providers and public-sector organisations, as institutions seek wider access to discounted diagnostic and treatment services for employees and their families.
The agreement was exchanged in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.
Those present from the Department of Cooperatives included Deputy Registrar for Administration Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Deputy Registrar for Finance Md Ahsan Habib and Senior Assistant for Administration Tanzila Akter.
Representatives from Ibn Sina included Ibn Sina Medical College Hospital Senior AGM and Admin In-Charge Muhammad Shafiqul Islam, Ibn Sina Trust Corporate Regional In-Charge for Business Development Mohammad Masud, Corporate North Zone In-Charge for Business Development Abu Abdullah Russell, Medical College Hospital Marketing In-Charge Shamsuzzaman and Officer for Corporate Business Development Rakib Uddin Chowdhury, among others.
The agreement adds to Ibn Sina Trust’s corporate service network, through which organisations can offer medical service benefits to employees and their dependants.
