Schengen member state embassies in Dhaka have issued important guidance for visa holders, urging them to strictly comply with approved travel plans and protocols.
The German Embassy shared the directive on behalf of all Schengen member states.
In a message posted on the embassy’s verified Facebook page around 10:30am on Monday, officials said travellers granted Schengen visas must adhere to the exact travel itinerary submitted during their application process.
The embassies cautioned that any major deviation from the declared travel plan may create complications for future Schengen visa applications, including an increased likelihood of rejection.
Visa holders have been strongly advised to complete their trips in line with the approved schedule, destinations, and purpose outlined in their applications.
Authorities also urged travellers to promptly inform the relevant embassy or consulate if any unavoidable changes to their travel arrangements occur.
