General secretary Tanvir Ahmed widened the net, confirming rewards for any medal, not just the top step. That strategy leans heavily on proven hands. Abdur Rahman Alif arrives as the spearhead after his gold in Singapore last June, where he outshot Japan’s Miyata Gakuto and collected the same $1,000 on the spot. He now chases repeat precision, not sentiment, and he trusts the preparation block to hold under Bangkok’s conditions.
