The country’s largest mobile financial services provider has introduced a range of offers to support seamless digital shopping at superstores, branded outlets, online marketplaces, restaurants, electronics retailers and ticketing platforms, according to a press release.
Every year during Ramadan and ahead of Eid, shoppers look for the best deals, discounts and coupons to make festival shopping more affordable, while merchants and retailers introduce promotional offers to attract customers.
To support the seasonal shopping surge, bKash has rolled out discounts and cashback across several segments including groceries, fashion, restaurants, online shopping, electronics, furniture, personal care and travel.
Customers can receive up to Tk1,000 discount on grocery shopping at superstores such as Swapno, Meena Bazar, Unimart, Daily Shopping, Agora, Prince Bazar, Lavender, Mostafa Mart, Khulshi Mart and Utshab Super Market through bKash payments during Ramadan and ahead of Eid.
In the lifestyle segment, shoppers using the ‘S3’ coupon can get Tk300 instant discount at Sailor outlets, while Tk200 instant discount is available at Sara Lifestyle.
Using coupon code ‘D1’, customers can receive up to Tk1,000 discount at fashion and lifestyle brands including Mr DIY, Artisan, Country Boy, Dorji Bari, Ecstasy, Fabrilife, Freeland, Yellow, Illiyeen, Kay Kraft, Bishworang, Anjan’s, Raw Nation, Shoilpik, Smartex, Target Fashion, Texmart, Westwood, Hoor, Goyna Baksho, Rang Bangladesh and Sanvees.
Shoppers can also receive up to Tk200 discount at merchants such as Takdum and Miniso Bangladesh using the ‘D5’ coupon.
Meanwhile, coupon code ‘D8’ offers Tk300 discount at Easy Fashion, Gentle Park, Infinity Mega Mall, Lubnan, Richman, Top Ten Fabrics and Tailors and Twelve Clothing.
Customers can also receive Tk200 cashback on purchases at lifestyle brand Aarong through bKash payment.
In the footwear category, cashback and discount offers are available at brands including Apex, Bata, Co-walk, Walker, Vibrant, Shampan, Lotto, Bowling, Crescent Footwear, Dhaka Boot Barn and Orion.
Restaurant offers include up to Tk750 discount using the ‘D4’ coupon at more than 2,000 restaurants across the country.
In Chattogram, customers can avail of discounts at outlets of Pizza Lounge, Secret Recipe, Bay Leaf Restaurant, Kutum Bari and Papa Chinos, while Dhaka diners can enjoy the offer at restaurants such as Galito’s, Burger King, CP Five Star, Chilis Restaurant and Delhi Darbar.
Customers can also receive up to Tk1,000 discount in total on iftar purchases at outlets of Decent Pastry Shop, Star Bakery and Star Hotel and Restaurant.
An additional Tk500 discount is available on iftar orders from more than 250 other eateries and bakeries.
Online shoppers can receive a Tk60 discount voucher on purchases at Daraz through bKash payment.
Cashback of 10 per cent and 20 per cent, up to Tk300, is also available at online platforms including Star Tech Online, Othoba, Robishop, Lubnan and Arometica.
The offer also applies to pet care purchases at AmarPet, Pet Food BD and Pet Mamma. Electronics shoppers using coupon code ‘D6’ can receive Tk200 discount at more than 1,200 outlets of Walton Plaza, Haier, Singer, Vision Emporium, Apple Mart BD and Gadget and Gear across the country.
Customers purchasing furniture can receive Tk600 cashback at brands including Akhtar Furniture, Brothers Furniture, Hatil, Hi-Tech Furniture, Nadia Furniture, Navana Furniture, Otobi and Tanin Bangladesh.
In the personal care segment, customers using coupon code ‘D6’ can receive Tk200 discount at merchants including Aesthetica, Beautain Revive, Cosmoimage Medicare, Dr Lina’s Skin and Aesthetics, Sete Medical
Bangladesh, Hairfree and Hairgrow, La Mano, Laser Treat, Miracle Skin Bangladesh and Vitaskin.
bKash users can also receive Tk200 cashback when booking selected bus tickets including Imperial Express, Sheba Green Line and Shyamoli Paribahan ahead of the Eid holidays.
Air ticket bookings through bKash payment at Biman Bangladesh Airlines, US-Bangla Airlines, Air Astra and Novo Air can offer up to Tk1,000 cashback.
Customers can also receive up to Tk600 cashback on bookings at selected hotels and resorts across the country.
The discount and cashback offers on bKash payments will remain valid until Eid-ul-Fitr. Currently, around 82 million bKash customers can make payments by scanning QR codes, tapping NFC, dialling *247# or using payment gateways at nearly 1.0 million merchants nationwide. bKash has also introduced direct payment from Visa cards through the bKash app to facilitate digital transactions.
