Star Cineplex is set to open a new branch in Narayanganj this Eid-ul-Fitr, expanding its footprint beyond Dhaka to meet the growing demand for modern multiplexes across Bangladesh.
The Narayanganj branch, located at Simanta Tower in the Jalkuri area, will feature three auditoriums; two with 178 seats each and one with 75. Like other Star Cineplex venues, it is equipped with high-quality sound systems, giant screens, and a modern, aesthetically pleasing environment to deliver a world-class cinematic experience.
“This is our Eid gift for the people of Narayanganj,” said Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, AGM of Media and Marketing at Star Cineplex. “It will add extra joy to the festive season, especially for cinema lovers. Audiences here have long awaited a multiplex like this, and we are happy to open the branch as planned.”
Mesbah added that the growth of the film industry requires not only quality films but also modern cinema halls. “Viewers now expect comfort, security, and high-quality screening systems. We have always prioritized these aspects, and the audience has embraced us, encouraging our gradual expansion,” he said.
Preparations are also underway to launch several more Star Cineplex branches within the year, with plans to extend gradually into district and upazila-level towns across the country.
