IFIC Bank PLC held its Annual Business Conference on 10 January 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall of IFIC Tower. The Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Md Mehmood Husain, attended the conference as the Chief Guest. The event, which was presided over by Managing Director Sayed Mansur Mustafa, focused on reviewing the Bank’s performance in 2025 and setting strategic business objectives for 2026.
The conference was attended by distinguished members of the Board of Directors, including Md Ebtadul Islam, Kazi Md Mahboob Kasem FCA, Md Golam Mostofa, and Md Monzorul Haque. Also present were the Bank’s Deputy Managing Directors, Heads of Divisions, and Branch Managers from across the country.
In his address, Chairman Md Mehmood Husain highlighted the Bank’s commitment to building a strong, transparent, and customer-centric banking system to tackle the country’s economic challenges. He stressed the importance of sound governance, effective risk management, technology-driven banking, and strategic transformation of the business model. Husain also reiterated the Board’s full support for management in achieving these objectives.
During the conference, the Board of Directors shared valuable insights on key issues, including corporate governance, the business environment, regulatory frameworks, non-performing loan management, and future strategic plans. The Chief Financial Officer presented an overview of the Bank’s business performance in 2025, highlighting key financial indicators and achievements.
In recognition of outstanding contributions, 24 branches were awarded for excellence in deposit mobilization, loan disbursement and recovery, and operating profitability. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where branch managers shared their experiences and insights, adding further value to the conference.
