BNP supporters gathered in front of Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday to mourn the death of party chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Khaleda Zia, Bangladesh’s first female prime minister and a three-time head of government, died at the age of 80 while undergoing treatment at the hospital. She breathed her last around 6am.

Her death has sparked grief among BNP leaders, activists, and supporters, many of whom expressed sorrow and paid tribute to her decades-long role in the country’s politics.
