North America will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with matches spread across 11 cities in the United States, three in Mexico and two in Canada. The expanded tournament will feature 104 matches.
The competition will begin on 11 June 2026, when co-hosts Mexico face South Africa in Mexico City. The following day, the USA will start their campaign in Los Angeles and Canada will do so in Toronto.
The group stage runs until 27 June, with simultaneous kick-offs for the final round of matches in each group.
The top two teams from each group – along with the eight best third-placed teams – will progress to the knockout stage, which starts on 28 June with the Round of 32.
The Round of 16 begins on 4 July, followed by the quarter-finals on 9–11 July, and the semi-finals on 14–15 July.
The final will be held at the MetLife Stadium on 19 July.
