Team Bangladesh delivered a series of standout performances at the IFBB Pro League Thailand event, where athletes from the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation competed on the international stage and collected medals across several categories.
The federation confirmed that Nazim Sheikh enjoyed a dominant outing, taking first place in the Novice Middleweight and Open Middleweight divisions. He also won gold in the PRO Qualifier Novice Middleweight and secured silver in the PRO Qualifier Open Middleweight. Officials described his performance as “a reflection of disciplined preparation” and highlighted his consistency across divisions.
Tanim Islam also impressed, winning the Men’s Bodybuilding 75kg category to claim the overall title. He later finished fourth in Classic Physique, a result that the federation said demonstrated his “versatility and competitive spirit”.
In Men’s Physique Class B (Novice), Imran Ali Khan finished second, adding another medal to the team’s tally. His showing was viewed internally as “a strong marker of progress” at this level of competition.
HFC Mithu contributed with two podium finishes, taking bronze in Open Bodybuilding 70kg and silver in the Novice Bodybuilding 70kg category. Teammates noted that his ability to perform in both novice and open fields underlined “commendable resilience”.
Ishan Sikder produced a busy schedule across multiple divisions. He earned bronze in Novice Bodybuilding 70kg, finished fourth in Open Bodybuilding 70kg, placed fifth in Open Men’s Classic Physique A at 170 cm and secured silver in Novice Men’s Physique A at 168 cm. His willingness to compete extensively was described by coaches as “a sign of determination and growth”.
The Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation praised the athletes for their commitment, noting that their efforts and discipline continue to push the country’s fitness landscape forward. The federation extended its congratulations to the entire team, stating that the performances in Thailand provided “a source of pride” for the wider bodybuilding community.
