Seven more children have died with suspected measles symptoms in the past 24 hours until Sunday morning across the country, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The latest suspected measles death has taken the total number of suspected measles-related deaths to 645, while deaths from confirmed cases have reached 93 since 15 March.

The DGHS reported 925 suspected measles cases and 106 confirmed cases in the last 24 hours.

With the latest data, the total number of suspected cases has risen to 105,618, while confirmed cases now stand at 12,632 since 15 March.

According to the DGHS, 88,844 patients have been hospitalised with suspected measles since 15 March, while 85,122 have recovered and been discharged.
