Bangladeshi stars Zayed Khan and Adhora Khan are set to share the screen for the first time in a new Bangladeshi film to be made in Canada, marking a new chapter in both actors’ expanding international careers.
Both actors are currently involved in projects across North America. Zayed has been working on various international projects in the United States, while Adhora has been pursuing work in Canada, including projects connected to the international and Hollywood entertainment industry.
The announcement of their pairing has already sparked curiosity among audiences, as the two familiar faces of Bangladeshi cinema will now work together in an international setting.
Zayed, a longstanding figure in the country’s film industry, has recently expanded his activities beyond Bangladesh.
Based in the United States, he has been involved in several international projects, adding a new dimension to his career.
Ahdora, meanwhile, moved to Canada in 2025 and has since explored opportunities in international entertainment.
Alongside stage shows, advertisements and other showbiz projects, she has worked on international productions and has also been involved with Hollywood-related projects.
Earlier this year, she announced her involvement in an international project titled Forty Eight Hours.
She has also continued to travel between Canada, Bangladesh and other countries for professional commitments.
Ahdora made her big-screen debut in 2018 with Nayak, opposite Bappy Chowdhury. She later appeared in Matal with Simon Sadiq and went on to star in Pagoler Moto Bhalobashi and Sultanpur.
Sultanpur was later released in Hindi as well.
Her upcoming projects include Dakhin Duwar and Ritukamini, while she is also preparing for another film scheduled to be shot in Europe.
The new film will bring Zayed and Ahdora together at a time when both are exploring opportunities beyond Bangladesh.
The actors have confirmed that they will be paired in the film, while the production company is expected to make an official announcement about the project and its other details later.
For now, the new pairing has added another intriguing dimension to their respective international journeys, with audiences waiting to see how their on-screen chemistry translates to the Canadian-set production.
