Zaima Rahman, daughter of BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman, on Saturday conducted an electioneering campaign in Dhaka-17, seeking votes on behalf of her father ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election scheduled for February 12.

As part of the outreach programme, Zaima Rahman visited various streets, shopping centres, offices, and business establishments in front of the Police Plaza in Gulshan in the afternoon, engaging directly with voters.

During the campaign, she spoke with residents about their concerns and expectations and highlighted BNP’s vision of national reconstruction under the leadership of Tarique Rahman. She also distributed campaign leaflets and appealed to voters to support him in the upcoming election.

The programme witnessed notable public participation, with pedestrians, traders, professionals, and young voters interacting with her. Many exchanged greetings, shared their views on the election, and took photographs.

A festive atmosphere prevailed throughout the area during the campaign. Security was ensured by CSF members along with local party leaders and activists.

BNP leaders and activists expressed hope that such direct engagement with voters would strengthen the party’s connection with the public and generate positive momentum ahead of the polls.
