A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants at Sabujbag in Khulna city on Friday night.
The deceased was Monowar Hossain Togor, son of Jamal Hawladar of the area. Abdul Hye, sub-inspector of Sonadanga Police Station, said three youths reportedly entered the house of the victim around 10:15pm and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
He was taken to Khulna Medical College and Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead, the SI added.
He said police are investigating the incident and efforts are on to arrest the perpetrators.
