Xiaomi has launched its Redmi Note 17 series in Bangladesh with prices starting at Tk32,999, introducing a two-year warranty for the Redmi Note lineup as the global smartphone maker seeks to strengthen its position in the country’s competitive handset market.

The new series includes three models — Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 17 — featuring larger batteries, faster charging technology, upgraded displays and enhanced durability, according to the company.

The launch marks the first time Xiaomi Bangladesh is offering two years of warranty coverage for a Redmi Note series device, along with one year of screen protection, aimed at providing customers with greater after-sales assurance.

“The popularity and trust that Xiaomi fans have placed in the Redmi Note Series are extremely important to us,” said Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh.

He said the Redmi Note 17 series was introduced with a 10,000mAh battery and two-year warranty coverage to provide customers with a more reliable smartphone experience.

The top-end Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G comes with a 10,000mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery, 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging support.

The device features a 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G comes with an 8,340mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery and 67W HyperCharge, while the Redmi Note 17 4G offers a 7,700mAh battery with 45W Turbo Charging.

Both the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 17 are equipped with AMOLED displays, Corning Gorilla Glass protection and certified 3-metre drop resistance.

Xiaomi is also offering financial incentives to attract buyers. Customers purchasing the Redmi Note 17 series through Cardless EMI can receive up to Tk10,000 cashback, while eligible cardholders from 36 banks can access up to 12 months of zero per cent EMI facilities.

Cash buyers will receive offers including up to Tk2,000 in Bata gift vouchers, Redmi Headphones Neo, Redmi Buds 8 Lite, a travel bag and thermal flask bundle and internet packages.

The company has also introduced a Note Club Privilege Card for buyers, offering 20 per cent discounts on selected Xiaomi TVs and washer dryers at selected stores.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is priced at Tk64,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Tk69,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant. It is available in Cloud Blush, Green and Black colours.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, available in Sky Blue, Satin Orange and Black, is priced at Tk54,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant.

The Redmi Note 17 4G is available at Tk32,999 for the 6GB+128GB version and Tk36,999 for the 8GB+256GB version.

The series is now available through Xiaomi-authorised stores and retail partners across Bangladesh.

With extended warranty coverage, higher battery capacity and upgraded specifications, Xiaomi is positioning the Redmi Note 17 series to compete in Bangladesh’s mid-range smartphone segment, where brands are increasingly focusing on durability, value and after-sales support.
