vivo has launched the vivo Y500 in Bangladesh, featuring an 8,100mAh BlueVolt Battery, the largest battery capacity in its segment, according to the company.
The smartphone is designed to support extended use, including gaming, navigation and video playback. The company said the device can deliver up to 10 hours of PUBG gaming, 13.5 hours of navigation and 35 hours of video playback on a single charge, while retaining up to 40 per cent battery after 10 hours of mixed use.
The vivo Y500 also features Reverse Charging, Bypass Charging and a six-year battery health guarantee for long-term performance.
The device comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED Display with 1.35mm ultra-narrow bezels, a 94.47 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits peak brightness and Eye Protection Mode.
Powered by a 6nm Ultra-Smooth Processor, the vivo Y500 delivers an AnTuTu score of up to 680,000, supporting multitasking and gaming performance, the company said. It also features heat management technology and a 50-month smooth experience certification.
Available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue, the smartphone features a Nebula Window Camera Module and slim metallic frame. It also comes with IP69 underwater photography capability and an Anti-Drop Armor Design.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony main camera, 32MP front camera and AI features including AI Erase 2.0, AI Retouch and Change Sky. The device also runs on OriginOS 6 with intelligent optimisation features.
The vivo Y500 is available in Bangladesh in 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB variants, priced at Tk36,999 and Tk43,999, respectively. Pre-orders started on 8 July.
