Urvashi Rautela has revealed that she wants to step behind the camera and direct a romantic film inspired by the emotional depth of Titanic.
According to News18, the actor said she loves directing films and hopes to make a “die-hard love story” for her directorial debut. Urvashi shared her plans during a media interaction with Instant Bollywood while discussing her production plans.
When asked if she would like to explore direction like production, Urvashi immediately said yes. “Yes, I do sing, and I love directing, so for sure I will direct,” she said.
Speaking about the kind of film she wants to make, the actor said she is an emotional person and would like to direct a passionate love story.
“As a person, I am a very emotional person, so I would want to direct a die-hard love story, maybe something like Titanic,” Urvashi said.
The actor, who already has a production house, is also planning to enter politics soon, according to the report.
Urvashi was among the Indian celebrities who attended the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. During a red-carpet interaction with Brut, she said representing India at international platforms gives her a different identity.
“Whenever I represent my country, I’m no more Urvashi, I’m India,” she said. She also mentioned wearing a designer outfit from Vietnam-based label JoliPoli for the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival 2026.
Urvashi was recently seen in Inspector Avinash Season 2. Earlier, while discussing the series, she said the second season was “bigger, bolder, and more explosive than ever” and described working on the action-packed project as an incredible experience.
