Trust Bank and bKash have partnered to introduce more digital financial services aimed at improving customer convenience and efficiency in transactions. As part of this collaboration, customers will be able to open weekly and monthly Deposit Pension Schemes (DPS) with Trust Bank directly from the bKash app.
This partnership will also offer enhanced bank-to-bKash and bKash-to-bank fund transfers, along with the ability to make direct payments from Trust Bank accounts via the bKash app at over one million merchant points nationwide. Additionally, agents and distributors will benefit from 24/7 automated cash management.
The agreement was signed at a city hotel in the presence of Trust Bank Managing Director and CEO Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury and bKash Founder and CEO Kamal Quadir. Brig Gen Md Mamun or Rashid (Retd), Head of General Service and Security Division of Trust Bank, and Chief Commercial Officer of bKash Ali Ahmmed also attended the event.
Trust Bank and bKash have already been offering joint services like the Trust Cum Settlement Account, Add Money, Transfer Money, and Remittance Settlement. With the new services, over 80 million bKash customers will now be able to open DPS accounts with Trust Bank through the bKash app. In addition, integrated services will be added to the Trust Bank and bKash Fund Transfer services, making transactions even easier for customers. Over 350,000 bKash agents across the country will also benefit from Trust Bank’s 24-hour cash management system.
