Actress Tanzim Saiyara Totini has reaffirmed her lifelong support for Brazil after the five-time world champions suffered a 2-1 defeat to Norway and bowed out of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the Round of 16.
Brazil’s early exit shocked football fans across the world. The defeat also disappointed many supporters in Bangladesh, including several figures from the country’s entertainment industry.
Despite the loss, Totini made it clear that her loyalty to the team remains unchanged.
After the match on Monday, Totini shared an emotional post on Facebook. She uploaded a photo of herself wearing a Brazil jersey and wrote, “I stand by my team through every good and bad moment. Brazil is a team I will carry in my heart forever. Today, tomorrow and always, I will stay with my team.”
The actress posed with one hand covering her eye, apparently trying to hide her tears. The image reflected the emotions of many Brazil supporters following the team’s unexpected elimination.
She also reacted in the comments section with several crying emojis, expressing her disappointment over the result.
Her post prompted an outpouring of support from fans.
Facebook user Masud Rana Raj Masud wrote, “Those who support Brazil will never switch to another team. Argentina supporters change sides when their team loses. Whether Brazil win or lose, Brazil will always remain my favourite team.
Inshallah, we will meet again in 2030, although I may not be alive by then. My best wishes always remain with Brazil.”
Another user commented, “We are not upset about losing the match. We are happy because our boss Neymar was able to play the last match of his career.”
A user named Sathi also praised the actress’s loyalty, writing, “The joy of football is what matters most. Your love and patience show the true identity of a genuine supporter.”
