Paris Saint-Germain will host Bayern Munich on Tuesday in the Champions League semi final. Ahead of the big match, coach Luis Enrique has begun the mind games.
PSG beat Angers 3-0 in Ligue 1 on Saturday night. It was a strong win. But after the match, Enrique did not give any update on his injured players.
He made three changes at halftime in that game. Achraf Hakimi, Fabián Ruiz, and Lucas Hernández all came off in the 46th minute. It is not clear if they had injuries or if they were rested for the Bayern match.
After the game, Enrique said, “The semi final battle against Bayern has already started and I will not give any information (about the players).”
The win helped PSG stay top of the table. They are now six points clear of Lens. Still, the night had one problem. Gonçalo Ramos saw a red card.
The red card will not affect the Champions League. But Enrique must plan without Ramos in the next league match.
PSG won their first UEFA Champions League title in the 2024-25 season. They beat Inter Milan in the final.
The team is again in good form this season. They have reached the semi final for the third time in a row. It is the first time in the club’s history they have done this.
